Description

The boundary stone, located approximately 870 meters north of the Cross Keys Inn on Middlesbrough Road, is a dressed sandstone shaft with a semi-circular head, dating from the early to mid-19th century. It stands about 30 centimeters high, with dimensions of 25 centimeters by 20 centimeters. The northeast face of the stone is inscribed with the letters "N.L. B.D." It is positioned on the east side of a stone wall and marks the boundary between Guisborough and the former Upsall Civil Parishes.
