Description
This boundary stone, located 1060 metres north of the Cross Keys Inn on Middlesbrough Road, dates from the early to mid-19th century. It is made of dressed sandstone and features a semi-circular head. The stone measures approximately 45 cm in height, 25 cm in width, and 20 cm in depth. The north face is inscribed with the letters "N.L. B.D." It marks the boundary between Guisborough and the former Upsall Civil Parishes.
