Description

CARHAM WEST LEARMOUTH NT 83 NE NE 9/17 Railway Viaduct c.100 yards north of West Learmouth II

Railway viaduct. 1849 for the York, Newcastle and Berwick Railway. Rock-faced stone with brick arches. Seven high round arches with corniced piers and rusticated voussoirs. Two broad flat pilasters at each end of bridge.
