Description

This railway viaduct was built in 1849 for the York, Newcastle and Berwick Railway. It is constructed from rock-faced stone and features brick arches. The structure includes five high round skew arches, corniced piers, and broad flat end pilasters. The viaduct is located approximately 300 yards east-north-east of West Learmouth.
