Description

This milepost, located approximately a quarter mile west of the junction with the B6525, dates from the early to mid-19th century. It is made of cast iron and features an oval tablet with two oval facets mounted on a short post. One side is inscribed with "BEL" for Belford, while the opposite side reads "COR" for Cornhill, with "9 MILES" and "10 MILES" along the top, as well as "FORD."
