Description
This is a milepost located beside Ford Castle West Lodge, dating from the early to mid-19th century. It is made of cast iron and features an oval tablet with two oval facets mounted on a short post. One face of the milepost is inscribed with "BEL" (for Belford) and the other with "COR" (for Cornhill), indicating distances of 15 miles and 6 miles, respectively.
