Description
Parson's Tower is a ruined tower, likely a 'Vicar's Pele', dating from the medieval period. It is constructed from squared stone. The ground-floor entry on the south side has been enlarged, and there is a chamfered offset approximately 6 feet above the ground. The walls of the tower stand to about 12 feet high.
On the east side, there is a shallow segmental arch leading to the remains of a mural stair. The interior features walls that are about 7 feet thick and a segmental tunnel-vaulted ground floor.
