Description
Lowick High Steads Farmhouse is a house that likely dates from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of random rubble with a pantiled roof and features rebuilt brick chimneys. The building is designed in an L-shape and has two storeys. The three-bay facade includes a 20th-century door set within a 20th-century lean-to porch. The windows are ogee-headed 12-pane sashes, which are framed by raised ogee-headed surrounds with imposts.
The roof is steeply pitched with gables, featuring thin raised coping and reverse-stepped gables, and there are end stacks. The lower rear wing has a small 6-pane sash window. The interior has not been inspected.
