Description

The Hermitage is a late 18th- and early 19th-century house, originally a vicarage. It is constructed with roughcast walls and ashlar dressings, topped with a Welsh slate roof. The building is two storeys high and has three bays. The facade features rusticated quoins. A central flush-panelled door is set within a raised surround, topped with a dentilled cornice, and is now partially concealed by a later 19th-century glass porch. The windows are 12-pane sashes in raised surrounds. A dentilled cornice runs along the top of the building. The roof is gabled, with kneelers, flat coping, and corniced end stacks.
