Description
This is a milepost located approximately 100 yards north of Nabhill, dating from the early 19th century. It is made of cast iron and has a triangular shape with a rounded back and a steeply canted top. One side is inscribed with "BER" for Berwick, the opposite side has "Wr" for Wooler, and the top displays "MOR" for Morpeth along with the distances 4, 12, and 43.
