West End Terrace Nos 1 And 2 With Attached Outbuildings

West End Terrace consists of two houses, which were remodeled in the mid-19th century from an 18th-century cottage. The buildings are constructed of coursed rubble and feature raised tooled-and-margined quoins and dressings, topped with a Welsh slate roof. They stand two stories tall and have three bays. The left side of the first bay has a vertical-panelled door, while between the second and third bays is a fielded six-panel door, both of which have two-pane overlights. The windows are 16-pane sash types, except for a smaller window to the left of the second bay. The gables are coped and have moulded kneelers, with a stepped-and-banded ridge and stacks at the right end. There is an attached one-storey outbuilding set back to the left, which also features a coped gable with moulded kneelers. The right side of the building reveals the gable-end masonry of the original single-storey cottage, and there is a 19th-century outshut at the rear.
