Description
House formerly 2, in terrace of 4, the end ones gable-ended, the centre ones double fronted, with pointed windows, facing a matching terrace opposite. Whitewashed rubble with slate gabled roofs and massive stone stack. Formerly 2 dwellings, projecting gable-fronted cottage to left with wavy bargeboard, large 6-pane window with painted stone sill and stucco reveals to left with evidence of infill beneath, so probably formerly door with stone voussoirs to cambered head and to right is severely-pointed Gothic window with painted stone sill. Small panes of the mid to late C20, replacing window with interlacing glazing bars to head as elsewhere on the building. Massive stone stack with projecting coping to ridge, heightened in red brick, between this and recessed cottage to right. Left end gable has similar bargeboard and no windows. Cottage to right has renewed small-paned lights with interlacing glazing bars to Gothic severely-pointed windows with stone voussoirs and stone sills. Centre boarded door with narrow rectangular overlight with small side margins. Cobbled forecourt.
