Description

This is a bridge built in the early 20th century, located over Quarry Burn on Hall Drive, 40 metres east of West Lodge. It is constructed from rock-faced stone with stone dressings, while the soffit is made of yellow brick. The bridge features a round arch with a triple keystone and a parapet that rises over the arch, supported by domed monolithic end piers. Moulded posts are positioned alongside the piers and at the centre of the parapet, where they carry chains. This bridge is included for its group value with West Lodge.
