Description
The garden wall, railings, and gate located 120 metres north-east of Linden Hall date from the early 19th century. The structure features brick with stone dressings and cast-iron elements. The railings, supported by knob standards on a chamfered plinth, extend from the north end of the ha-ha to a contemporary iron gate. A brick wall with a flat stone coping continues north and then returns east to connect with a stone wall, which has been altered by a 20th-century opening that is not of interest. This listing is primarily for the historical significance of the large bricks, which are of an unusual type from the early 19th century.
