Description

This is a pill box built in 1940, located at NZ 139983. It has an elongated hexagonal shape and is made of concrete with a flat roof. The structure is single storey and partly below ground level. The elongated front features three rifle embrasures and one machine gun embrasure on each chamfered side. The rear has two rifle embrasures and a protected door. This pill box was constructed as part of the Coquet Line of defense against German invasion during the Second World War.
