Description
The farm buildings west of Pike House are early 19th century structures designed in a planned layout. They are constructed from coursed stone with ashlar dressings and feature a Welsh slate roof, forming a symmetrical U-plan.
The rear range includes a two-storey central section with two segmental arches that provide access to shelter sheds on the ground floor, while above are four 4-pane Yorkshire sash windows. The building has stone eaves and a hipped roof.
Flanking this central section are single-storey, one-bay areas, with a boarded door on the left and a blocked door on the right. There are projecting single-storey, two-bay byres, each equipped with two boarded doors and two ventilation slits, topped with gabled roofs that have flat coping.
Lean-tos are attached to the gable ends of the projecting ranges. On the left side, there are two pigsties with exercise yards in front and a henhouse above. On the right side, there are kennels and exercise yards, along with iron railings in front.
Inside the henhouse, there are stone nesting boxes.
