The Lonnen

The Lonnen is a house that likely dates back to the 17th century and was restored in the early to mid-19th century. It features substantial 'bastle-type' masonry and a Welsh slate roof. The building has two storeys and two bays, with a single-storey, three-bay addition on the right side.

On the right, there is a boarded and battened door set within a 19th-century Tudor-arched surround. The windows are 20th-century casements in 19th-century chamfered surrounds, with the remains of mullions visible; there is a three-light window on the ground floor and a two-light window above. The roof is gabled with ridged coping and kneelers, and there is a renewed stack at one end.

To the left, there is an attached three-bay cottage that has a central boarded door in a chamfered surround and similar windows that were formerly three-light. This cottage also has a gabled roof with flat coping and tall banded ridge stacks.

At the rear, there is a continuous single-storey outshut.
