Description

This is a county bridge marker located on the north side of the old road, 30 metres northeast of the current bridge over Whitton Burn. It is likely from the early 19th century and is made of cut sandstone. The marker features an arched pillar with incised Roman capitals "C" and "N," and it stands at an overall height of 0.70 metre.
