Description

This is a 19th-century milepost located approximately 100 yards south of the junction with the B6348 in Adderstone with Lucker. Made of cast iron, it stands about 2 feet high and has a triangular shape with a canted triangular top. One face is inscribed with the letter "A" for Alnwick, and the other face has the letter "B" for Belford.
