Description

High Mousen Farmhouse is an early 19th-century house constructed of ashlar stone with a Scottish slate roof. It stands two storeys tall and features three main bays, along with a lower one-bay service wing to the left. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door set within a segmental-arched recess. The windows are 16-pane sash types, each with projecting sills. The gabled roof is finished with flat coping and has corniced brick end stacks resting on ashlar bases. The service wing includes a 9-pane sash window on the first floor. At the rear, there are additional 16-pane sash windows and a round-headed stair window with intersecting glazing bars.
