Description
The Old Vicarage is a vicarage, now a private house, built around 1840 in the Tudor style. It is constructed of ashlar stone and has a Welsh slate roof. The building has two storeys and features three bays, with a projecting cross-gabled bay on the left. The entrance consists of an 8-panel door with a hoodmould, set within a gabled stone porch that has a square cap on the gable. To the left, there is a canted bay window with three and one-light mullioned-and-transomed windows, each light having small-pane casements. To the right, there is a three-light mullioned-and-transomed window, also with a hoodmould. Above, the upper storey has two- and three-light mullioned windows with 8-pane sashes. The gabled roof has kneelers, ridged coping, and square caps on the gables. The ridge and end stacks are made of renewed brick but rest on old bases.
On the left side of the building, there is a three-bay facade with a projecting cross-gabled centre bay, featuring similar architectural details. A single-storey addition from the 20th century on the right side is not considered to have special interest.
