Description
The wall and gate piers located to the south of Netherton School were built around 1846. They are constructed from roughly-squared stone with ashlar dressings. The gate piers are panelled and feature swept moulded caps. These piers are connected by a wall that has a chamfered plinth and swept coping, leading to similar end piers. From the right end pier, a curved wall with gabled coping connects to the east end of the school. This structure is included for its group value.
