Description

This milepost, located approximately 100 yards north of the end of Hay Farm Road, dates from the early to mid-19th century and is made of cast iron. It features a short, fluted design with an oval top that has two oval facets. One side is inscribed with "BER" (for Berwick) and the opposite side reads "WOOLER 11 9 MILES."
