Description

This is a milepost located approximately 100 yards north of the former chapel. It dates from the early 19th century and is made of cast iron. The milepost features an oval top with two oval facets on a short fluted post. One side is inscribed with "Ber" (short for Berwick), while the opposite side reads "ETAL 5 5 MILES."
