Description
Old Farmhouse is a former farmhouse, now used for garages and storage, built in 1780 for William Carr of Etal Manor. The building is constructed of ashlar with an asbestos roof and has two storeys and four bays. There is a boarded-up door and overlight in the second bay, featuring a raised stone surround and a lintel inscribed with "HON WHC 1780." The windows are 12-pane sashes set in raised surrounds, and the building has a gabled roof.
