Description
College Farmhouse, dating from around 1700, and a mid-19th century farm cottage have been combined into one house. The farmhouse features whitewashed roughcast, while the cottage is built of brick. Both buildings have a clay pantile roof with sprocketed eaves, gable coping, and two rebuilt stacks. The structure is two storeys high and consists of five bays, including an off-centre doorway with a late 20th-century door and overlight with glazing bars, set beneath a mid-20th century hip-roofed porch. The late 20th-century casement windows are located in their original openings and have stone sills. The adjoining two-storey, two-bay brick farm cottage on the left has a half-glazed door with a stone lintel to the right, along with renewed sash windows featuring glazing bars and stone sills, and a rebuilt end stack. There are outhouses attached to both the left side of the farm cottage and the right side of the farmhouse, but these are not considered of interest.
