Description

NZ 11 NE KILLERBY KILLERBY (West side, off) 4/79 Detached farmbuilding, 20 metres south-east of Killerby Grange GV II Detached farmbuilding, formerly stable, loose-box and loft, now storage. Early C19. Squared rubble. Pantiled roof. 2 storeys, 5 bays with tooled quoins. Central stone stairway flanked by small fixed lights and boarded doors in flush surrounds. Stairway leads to first- floor boarded door, in similar surround, flanked by 4-pane fixed lights. Steeply-pitched roof. First-floor boarded opening on left return. Interior: loose-box in right bay; 4-bay stable to left has raking wood partitions and a continuous rear-wall hay rack. Included for group value.
