St Chad's College is a house that has been converted into a college, dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. The building features incised stucco with a painted ashlar plinth and dressings, topped with a Welsh slate roof and a brick chimney. It stands three storeys high and has four bays. The third bay includes a half-glazed door with a renewed wood architrave and hood. The windows are sash style, complete with glazing bars and projecting stone sills. There is also a boot-scraper recess next to the door.
