Description
Eaton Hall International is a house that has been converted into a college. It was built in the early 19th century, with a later extension added in the 19th century. The building features white painted stucco and has a slate roof that is hipped to the left, complete with a bracketed cornice. At the rear, there are three large stucco stacks. The left five bays of the building are set on a plinth and the structure has three storeys with a total of eight bays.
Access to the entrance is via four stone steps that lead up to a paved platform in front of a single-storey projecting bay, which contains a doorway. The door is a double glazing bar type, framed by a moulded eared and shouldered architrave, and has iron fittings for a canopy. On either side of the entrance are single segmental bows, each one storey high and occupying two bays, featuring three glazing bar sashes and continuous sill bands. A cornice runs across these five bays, topped with decorative iron railings that form a balcony. This cornice continues across the three bays on the right, which are part of the extension, creating a first-floor band.
The central single-storey projecting bay has a single sash window flanked by two smaller sashes on either side. Above this are eight sashes, each with moulded surrounds topped with a pediment, and above those are eight smaller sashes with similar moulded surrounds. To the right and rear of the building are extensive 20th-century extensions, which are not included in the listing.
