Description
Home Farm Cottage is an 18th-century cottage that was refronted in the early 19th century. It is constructed of red brick and features a pantile roof with two red brick stacks and dentil eaves. The building is two storeys high and has three bays. The central doorway has a plank door and is flanked by single tripartite glazing bar Yorkshire sashes. Above the doorway is a central blind panel, with a single glazing bar casement to the left and a single glazing bar Yorkshire sash to the right. All openings and the panel are set under segmental arches. To the right, there is a set-back brick and pantile lean-to that includes a doorway with a plank door. The right gable shows remnants of tumbled-in brickwork from the earlier construction. At the rear, there are attached farm buildings that are not included in the listing. The cottage is included for its group value only.
