Description

Bramble House and Westfields is a late 18th-century detached house constructed of red brick. It is three stories high and originally had three windows, featuring straight brick arches with keystones and flush window frames, without glazing bars. The central section, containing one window, projects forward beneath a pediment, supported by a brick dentil cornice, with a band running along the first-floor sill level. One ground-floor window on the left side has been blocked. The house has a good wood doorcase with fluted pilasters and an open dentil pediment, topped by a traceried fanlight, now with a modern door. Inside, a contemporary staircase remains. 19th-century additions have been made to the sides of the original house.
