Description
Home Farmhouse is a farmhouse built in the mid-18th century, with later additions from the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of red brick and features a pantile roof with raised brick coped gables. The building has two red brick gable stacks, along with a single similar stack at the rear. Notable architectural details include dentil, raised brick, and dogtooth eaves. The farmhouse is two storeys tall, plus a garret, and has five bays with a central first-floor band.
The entrance features a central gabled, closed porch with a pointed arched entrance and a panelled door. On either side of the porch are two glazing bar sash windows, with five smaller similar sashes above. To the left and right, there are single-storey, single-bay 20th-century red brick extensions with flat roofs, each containing a single glazing bar sash on both floors. At the rear, there is a 19th-century two-storey extension. Various farm buildings are attached to the right, but these are not included in the listing. Inside, there is a dog leg staircase with turned balusters.
