Description
Hall Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the mid-18th century, which was refronted in the early 19th century. The east front is made of red brick from the 19th century, and it features a hipped roof covered with concrete pantiles. There are two red brick chimney stacks and dentil eaves. The building has an L-plan layout and consists of two storeys with three bays.
The central doorway has a panelled door with a three-pane overlight, set into a wooden reveal and flanked by single wooden pilasters in shallow relief. A concrete pantile hood is supported by two wooden columns. On either side of the doorway are single low glazing bar sash windows, and above them are three similar, smaller sash windows. All windows are set under cambered arches with flush wedge lintels.
At the rear, there are two and single storey wings, which incorporate the original mid-18th century structure. The northeast wall features a plinth and a first floor band, with altered openings, and was originally three storeys high.
