Description
Kingsgate is a house dating from around 1800. It features painted incised stucco with a painted ashlar plinth and dressings, topped by a Welsh slate roof with stone gable copings and rendered chimneys. The building has two storeys and attics, arranged in three bays, with the left bay being blind and wider than the others. A Tuscan doorcase in the second bay holds a six-panelled door set in a deep reveal. Above the door and in the right bay are 16-paned sash windows, while a small inserted window is located to the left of the door. A gabled dormer features a small sash window, and there are two ridge chimneys. Additionally, round-headed boot-scraper recesses flank the door.
