MIDDLETON IN TEESDALE ALSTON ROAD NY9425 24/122 Gate piers and walls North of Community Centre GV II 6 piers at ends of and at 2 entrances in dwarf wall. 1861. Coursed squared sandstone wall with chamfered ashlar coping; ashlar piers. Gothic-style chamfered square piers have plinths and pyramidal coping. C20 railings and gates not of interest.
