Description
This is an early 19th-century house on the north side of Front Street, Staindrop. It is constructed of coursed squared stone with ashlar dressings and has a stone-flagged roof topped by a rendered brick chimney on the left end. The house has two storeys and a single wide bay. The front door, with a four-pane overlight, is located on the right and is set within a plain stone surround. Late 19th-century four-pane sash windows are also set within similar surrounds. The property is listed for its group value.
