Description

This is a late 18th or early 19th century house on the east side of High Street, Helmsley. It is constructed of squared coursed sandstone rubble with a pantile roof and brick stacks. The house follows an end-passage plan, with the main entrance located to the right of the facade. It is two storeys high with two windows on the first floor. A 20th-century half-glazed door is situated on the right-hand side, alongside a three-light Yorkshire sash window to the left. The first floor features three three-light Yorkshire sash windows, all with stone sills and lintels. The roof has a swept design with a gable end stack on the left. The building is included on the listing for group value considerations.
