Description

The Royal Oak is an early 19th-century public house. It is constructed of painted rough render with ashlar and wood dressings, and has a Welsh slate roof with stone gable copings and rendered brick chimneys. The building is three storeys high and has three bays. The central entrance features a renewed boarded door and overlight, set within a doorcase of pilasters and a scroll-bracketed cornice; wood architraves frame the late 19th-century sash windows, which have projecting stone sills. The Welsh slate roof is punctuated by end chimneys.
