NZ 01 SW BRIGNALL DENT HOUSE

5/84 Dent House Farmhouse with adjacent outbuilding on west II

House and outbuilding, C18 and early C19. House rubble with roughly-shaped quoins and cut dressings; outbuilding rubble with roughly-squared quoins. Stone slate roof, with right end stack rebuilt in grey brick. House 2 storeys, 3 bays. Central gabled porch with boarded door; 4-pane sash windows (except for 4-pane casement over door) all in stone surrounds. End stacks. l-bay outbuilding on left, under same roof, has boarded double doors under part- slatted window with timber lintel.

Similar fenestration to rear, some glazing renewed.

Pent shed on west of outbuilding and lower extension to rear of house are not of special interest.
