6/125 Cross Lanes Farmhouse with 12.1.67 adjacent outbuildings on west

House and outbuildings. House mid-C18, outbuildings probably early C19. Roughly-coursed rubble with roughly-shaped quoins and cut dressings; stone slate roofs. House 2 storeys, 2 bays. Left-of-centre renewed 6-panel door in stone surround. 12-pane Yorkshire sash windows in architraves with projecting moulded sills, those on ground floor with stubs of old iron bars; rough relieving arches over ground floor openings. End stacks. Lower farmbuilding to left shows stable door, 2 boarded doors and small window.

Right return of house shows 'V.R.' wall postbox; 4-pane sash window to 1st floor of outshut. Rear elevation shows 6-panel door, two 4-pane sashes and 4-pane Yorkshire sash.
