Description
Wood Hall Farmhouse and adjacent cottages date from the early 19th century. They are constructed of squared rubble with quoins and feature tooled and margined dressings. The buildings have a slate roof, with a stepped stone stack on the right gable and a left gable stack that has been partly rebuilt in brick.
The farmhouse is two storeys high and has three windows, arranged symmetrically with an added bay on the left. It has a central glazed door with a four-pane fanlight and alternating jambs, along with 16-pane sash windows set in moulded box frames. The lower left addition includes a 16-pane sash window and a 20th-century window inserted in a blocked door.
The cottages are set back to the right and feature two doors and two 16-pane sash windows on the ground floor, with four four-pane sashes above and two brick ridge stacks. There is a continuous rear outshut attached to the house.
