GV II

Mine manager's house, cottage and stable; now 2 houses. Circa 1840. Coursed squared sandstone with ashlar dressings and quoins, some of millstone grit. Welsh slate roof; main chimneys incised stucco. House of 2 storeys, 3 bays; cottage and stable 2 lower storeys, 6 bays; 9 bays in all. House at right has 6-panel door, with patterned overlight, in panelled stone surround under cornice; 16-pane sashes have fine glazing bars, flat stone lintels and projecting stone sills. Chamfered quoins. Roof, hipped at right, has wide eaves, bargeboards, and 2 ridge chimneys.

Cottage and stable at left; central boarded door under flat stone lintel in 3- bay stable, and blocked door in right bay; pigeon holes above with stone shelves; left millstone grit quoins. House has renewed central door and C20 windows in outer bays. Central banded ridge chimney.
