Description

The walls surrounding the former schoolyard and the attached letter box were built around 1863 for S.S. Teulon at the request of Rev. Daniel Capper. The walls are made of dry sandstone rubble and stand approximately 2 metres high on the north and south sides, while the west side is about one metre high. There is a raised section at the south-west corner that contains the letter box, which features a low-relief VR monogram and is currently out of use. The gates to the school were renewed around 1980.
