Description
The outbuilding north of Townfield House is a coach-house and stable that has been converted into a garage and outbuilding for Townfield shop. It is constructed from coursed squared rubble with ashlar dressings. The roof is stone-flagged on the left side and covered with corrugated asbestos on the right. The building is single-storey and consists of five bays. There is a painted wood lintel above a boarded vehicle entrance located in the left bay, and a boarded door beneath a flat stone lintel in the fourth bay. The third bay features a wide wood door with a thin wood lintel above it, while a small window is positioned at the right end under a flat stone lintel.
