Description

The walls enclosing the garden and yard of Townfield House were built around 1863 by S.S. Teulon for Rev. Daniel Capper. They are made of dry sandstone rubble and vary in height from about 80 centimeters to one meter. These walls enclose the garden and yard on the west and north sides and also flank the path leading to the house, except where they are interrupted by a 20th-century outbuilding, which is not of interest.
