Description
This is an outbuilding located south of Ramshaw House, dating from around 1840. It features coursed sandstone rubble with ashlar dressings and has both stone-flagged and felt-covered roofs. The building is in an L-plan layout, with one storey, two bays, and a projecting right wing. There are boarded doors in the two bays beneath thin stone lintels, with the second door having a ventilation panel. The cart shed has double boarded vehicle doors. The left side has a low-pitched, stone-flagged roof, while the right side has a monopitch roof. The right return includes two small square fixed lights with flush lintels and sills. This outbuilding is included for its group value with Ramshaw House.
