RABY WITH KEVERSTONE A 688 NZ 12 SW NZ 132215 (East side) 9/77 Milestone approximately c.800 metres north of Church Bridge, Staindrop

Milestone. Probably late C18. Ashlar. Square-section block, c.0.5 metre high, with domed pyramid top, set diagonally to road and inscribed Bowes 11 on north and Durham 18 on south faces; rear faces have large Roman capitals B and D.
