Description

The water cistern, dated 1746, is located in the walled garden of Raby Castle Park. It is made of lead and has a square shape, standing about one metre high. The front features moulded strapwork decoration, which includes the letters "CC" in a round panel and the date numbers displayed in each of the four corners.
