Description

The lead cistern located in the east forecourt of St Fagans Castle is a large circular structure measuring about 2 meters in diameter and 1.3 meters in height. Its outer face features a double row of panels, most of which are framed with arcading and adorned with a floriated pattern. This cistern is notable for being one of the earliest surviving examples of its kind.
