Description
The north wall of the entrance garden at St Fagans Castle is constructed of limestone rubble and stands approximately 2.5 meters tall. It features a doorway with a slightly cambered headed arch made of dressed stone. The wall is topped with a parapet that has ramped coping and is adorned with a very ornate wrought iron gate. Towards the east end of the wall, there is another doorway that leads into the rose garden. This doorway has a pointed head with stone voussoirs, a stone parapet, and a boarded door with hinges.
